I use the Steelseries Rival. It's really good... No problems with it at all.

What kind of games do you play? Do you want any features like macros and software?

How important is ergonomics to you?

I play games here and there, but im more content creation than anything. I use a fingertip grip, so my hand doesn't fully touch the mouse and my palm/heel of my hand rests on the mouse pad. I don't care about macros, but a few buttons on the left doesn't hurt, I suppose

Claw? Palm? What sort of grip do you use on your mouse, that can help determine what's the best for you. Also, small or large hands? loads of macros or the bare minimum? We can help more if we have a better idea what you're looking for.

Never mind, just seen the above post. Will be back with suggestions soon.

Honestly, do you know of any mice that have the shape of the Preformance MX, but is wired and is not as expensive? On a side note, I've been looking at the g502; what is your opinion on that?

I was actually going to say the 402 or 502, as they're really good (I onlu use Logitech mice) and are reasonably priced. If you can get the 502, go for it IMO.

The 402 is on for $50 while the 502 for $80, is it worth the $30 more?

It depends on whether you will make use of the better sensor, tunable weight and want a braided cable, plus a heavier mouse at standard weight (20g difference). If you do want those, then the G502 is a no brainer, if you don't and aren't going to be whipping the mouse side to side rapidly then I'd go for the G402.

Nope.  I've got the 402 Hyperion Fury and I've tested the 502.  Unless if weighting is an issue, you won't feel much else being different if you're claw-gripping.

UPDATE: I have bought the G402. I will let you know what I think when I am home.
