Nvidia drivers crashing

Go to solution Solved by Plastictree,

can you copy the folder to somewhere else (like documents) then zip it from there?

Internet was out last night, got bored and re installed windows. That fixed it. So I guess it was just a software problem in the first place

Resident evil 5 is the same. Directx 9 works but lags like a bitch in saints row. I've cleaned my registry, repaired c++, reinstalled directx, normal drivers, beta drivers, 314.22 drivers, reset profiles for nvidia, ultra low in game settings. Crashing during load screen, crash while loading saves, and blue screens all over the fuckin place. The last thing I need is a bad card

As you said you blue screened, could you upload the dump files as detailed in this thread (assuming Windows8 works the same, which I presume)

Upload the dump files from C:\Windows\Minidump in a compressed archive (.zip etc) to the forum using the "Attach Files" button under the editor. This allows us to read the error messages and diagnose the problem effectively and quickly.

It probably won't give us any new details, but it's still good to be able to take a look at more in depth evidence.

There's only one file, and it won't let me open it, or zip it up, or anything, all i can do is move it

Hope it works. Often it is a software problem, either fixed by reinstalling the drivers or windows. I guess when you're bored...
