not all gpus oc the same, so someone else with a 480 may get a better oc than you would, but tbh theres no point ocing a gpu like that, you wont get it anywhere to see a difference.

How far you can overclock it will vary -- similar to overclocking a CPU, any other GPU, RAM ,etc.

 

If you are thinking of pushing your GTX 480, be sure to keep a close on  the GPU and VRM temperatures (GPU-Z should have temperature reading for them).

Those "Fermi" architecture GPU's generate quite a bit of heat, and the electrical components operate at quite high temperatures -- be careful.
