Retro City Rampage coming to Windows 3.1 and MS-DOS

Dust off the old Compaq — Retro City Rampage is coming to MS-DOS. Vblank Entertainment's oft-ported homage to 8-bit video games and Grand Theft Auto is being retrofitted to work on a new old platform in the form of Retro City Rampage 486.

 

Retro City Rampage 486 is a port of Retro City Rampage DX, the enhanced version of the game that came, and according to the developer "a full on" version that includes story mode, arcade challenges and free-roaming.

 

"While ROM City Rampage was a fun prototype for the NES, this is a full on Retro City Rampage DX port," the developer said on Facebook. "It proudly demonstrates once again that RCR isn't yet-another-retro-styled game, but something that could've actually been released in 1989."

 

Retro City Rampage 486 will be free for owners of the Mac and Windows PC version of the game. The port requires 4 MB of RAM and 3.7 MB of hard drive storage space.

I personally can't wait, since this means I have an excuse to use my old gaming rig some more.

Heads up, I think you should fix the title cause the game isn't coming to "windows 3.1" rather a windows 3.1 version of the game is going to be released.
