Windows 10 Alt+Tabbing?

Go to solution Solved by Valkyrie Lenneth,

To restore the XP Alt-Tab functionality simply, lauch regedit, add a DWORD named AltTabSettingsto HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer and set its value to 1

should work for windows 10

if it does not,

  1. Open Registry Editor.
  2. Go to the following Registry key:HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer

Tip: You can access any desired Registry key with one click.
If you do not have such a Registry key, then just create it.

  3. Create a new 32-bit DWORD value named AltTabSettings and set it to 1.

So I've just upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7 and I'm liking it so far, it's not bad at all (some minor OCD complaints... no more "Library" section in explorer, replaced by just "Folders"). Anyway, I am really annoyed at the new alt+tabbing that they put, it seems. In Windows 7 (and I think 8 as well) you can choose to alt+tab to whatever programs or windows are open at the moment INCLUDING the desktop. However, after fiddling aroudn with Windows 10 for a while, it seems like that you can't do that anymore! You can still obviously alt+tab to all the opened windows but you can't quickly alt+tab to the desktop is someone barges into your room! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Does anyone know how to get the old alt+tabbing back?
