That was what I was thinking, what about a fx6300?

 

It's not the amount of cores that's the issue, it's that AMD's per core performance isn't that good. You should be fine, but an i3 should game a lot better than both.

i wouldn't get that case. it's a piece of junk. get the corsair 200r instead, which is at the same price point.
