PC keeps beeping after startup. HELP PLEASE!

Hey guys,

 

 

so my cousin's PC keeps beeping AFTER startup. This aren't those beeps that you get when you can't POST. The computer boots up fine and the beeping only starts a few seconds after the desktop has been loaded up.

 

At first we thought that it was the sound card or sound drivers that was broken, but after switching off the onboard sound on the BIOS, we 'still' get the beep- we can't hear it, but we can see the bars going up and down on the volume control.

 

 

PLEASE HELP!

Weird. It might be a problem with hardware rather than drivers or something.

Thanks Vizzion! This really helped! turns out his cpu block's connector wasn't attached to the motherboard correctly.
