My friend Sosa is moving over to a new desktop in 2 months time but has overheating issues with his current build. He has issues with his Mobo and GPU. He's not currently aware of his Mobo model but I'll update this post more when details come in. Regardless, his GPU (geforce 9500 gs) is idle at 80c which is insane. He say's he's been maintaining his case well and dusting it out but since his last clean up everything seems to have exaggerated temps. Speaking of exaggerated, his temp on his mobo is at a constant 103c. I'm not sure how but he's assuming it might be an issue with the program he's using to monitor his temps. Anyways, I already gave him advice in checking if his heatsink in his gpu if it might be clogged or if any of the vents on his case are clogged. According to him everything is cleaned and has free flow of air moving through. I already est. that his cards fan might be broke considering it hit high temps but to this degree is nutty. Can anyone give me advice to resolve this issue. The programs he uses are speccy and speedfan to check temps.

P.S It's not alot of info to run off of but he'd didn't give me enough info to begin with.
