I'm new to PC gaming and building and I'm wondering if there is a video build guide to my above build or one that has a similar component list. I don't plan on buying the parts for a while, as I'm waiting for some holiday deals, but I do want to know what I'm doing before I get my hands wet.

But as for build guides, just follow any build guide out there that is relatively close to what you have, and for parts that don't make sense just check the manuals or come back on LTT forums and make a post :)

i think it makes a difference. depends on what you do with the pc. cpu intensive tasks will run faster. if you don't want to overclock, get another cpu like the xeon e3 1231v3, which is similar to an i7-4770

or

get a 4590 to save some money and get a 390x

or

keep the 4690k and read my overclocking guide; link in my sig
