Why can't i pin folders to my start menu and have a shortcut there?

Shit is annoying i want to put my other drives on there but it doesnt work

 

even when i right click a folder and press pin to start it doesn't show up

Just pin them to quick access. That way whenever you press windows e it brings them up.

If you right click on a folder there should be a "pin to start" option. You might have to scroll over the "file explorer" in the start menu to see the shortcut though.

i got windows 10 literally just for the start menu and its actually shit in its customization lmao

 

 

yeah my start menu doesn't look anything like that how do i add programs to the left like that? dragging them dont work, pinning them doesn't work.
