Hello everyone!

so i got an msata ssd 32gb crucial m4 and acording to atto, and i feel its slower installing software especcially big files like games, im getting about half the write performance on the ssd than on my hdd which is a wd caviar blue 500gb is there a way to force the os to write with the hdd and just read with the ssd? im using the ssd as a cache in case you haven't figured it out

any help will be appreciated

How are you using it as a cache? Through the Intel software? What OS?

If you're using the SSD as a cache then it should be transparent and you shouldn't even be able to benchmark the ssd by itself. Also you're not going to be seing increased write speeds on installation. You're only going to see faster read speed/access time for data that has been cached over time. And with the intel software (or any caching software that I know of) you can not force write to the SSD.
