I have plugged 3 microphones on the back of the MOBO, they are recognized, set as "line In", individual system, driver, and Realtek HD audio software volume set to the max, and still on the

audio devices, the green lines still don't show up, i even buy a new microphone, and still it doesn't work, could i be missing something... I don't think it's the MOBO because it recognizes the device

This instructions didn't help: http://www.onlinemictest.com/microphone-settings/windows-7

Have you set the mic you plug in to be the default recording device?

Also, if you don't want to deal with that, you could easily get a USB mic...
