Hello linustechtips members.

I am planning to buy a new computer...

So I want your opinion about what you think of my choise.

I want it for Battlefied 4 4k gaming, programming, video and photo editing, running virtual machines and I will have dual boot win7 and linux.

I know it is "overkill" but I WANT POWER and also I want the pc I will buy to be also good in 5,6,7,8 years....

CPU:   Intel Core i7 5960x

mobo:   Asus X99 Sabertooth

GPU:   2x Radeon R9 390x

RAM:   Corsair Dominator 16GB 2666Mhz DDR4 (4x4GB)
PSU:   ?
SSD:   SAMSUNG 850 Pro 512GB

PCI SSD:    Intel DC P3500 400GB (If I find money for this :P )....(I don't think so.... :P )

Fan Controller:   NZXT Sentry LX 5 Channels

Fans:   7x Corsair Air Series SP120 Quiet Edition High Static Pressure

Fans:   6x Corsair Air Series AF120 Performance Edition

Case:   Corsair 900D
Keyboard:   Gigabyte Aivia Osmium
Mouse:   Mad Catz Cyborg R.A.T. 5 White
Monitor:   BenQ BL3201PT

Thermal Paste:   Arctic Silver 5

+Custom Liquid Loop for 2xVGA and 1xCPU with acrylic hard tubes

+Cable sleeving black,pink and white/gray

+Adding to 900D Case and an ATX motherboard cover and a full midplate

1. So what do you think? Is there any problem with the build? Should I change something?

2. Suggest me a PSU,how many watts do you think I need? I will overclock the CPU at around 4Ghz  and maybe the gpu.

3. Will I have any problem when playing at 4k graphics bf4 ?

4. Will the fans do much noise? I will not have them all work at full rpm.

Which R9 390X or R9 390 graphic card do you suggest me? (Asus,msi,XFX...?)

I will buy the things from the German e-shop "Mindfactory" and from other 4-5 Greek shops.

I will get f#ck3d with the shippings but nevermind..... :/

Thats all...!

For a PSU, the EVGA G2 1000W unit is a great choice, as for the fans, I'd go with Noctua NF-F12s due to them being dead silent. If you don't like their colour you could go for their industrial design.

For the PSU look Into a 1000w EVGA t2, p2, or g2 ( if the g2 one exist )

Honestly the 900d is a case that is huge. I doubt you need that big of a case.

i7-6700k  Cooling: Deepcool Captain 240EX White GPU: GTX 1080Ti EVGA FTW3 Mobo: AsRock Z170 Extreme4 Case: Phanteks P400s TG Special Black/White PSU: EVGA 850w GQ Ram: 64GB (3200Mhz 16x4 Corsair Vengeance RGB) Storage 1x 1TB Seagate Barracuda 240GBSandisk SSDPlus, 480GB OCZ Trion 150, 1TB Crucial NVMe

Thanks for the answers guys.1000W PSU Is OK?? Then, who uses the 1600W PSU? :P

Yeah,I don't like the colour so I selected corsair for their design and because corsair is one of the best companies out there.

@DarkBlade2117,the 900D will be like a wall next to me xD

1600W PSU is mostly for 4-way SLI/CF. Not many people use it. Due to the performance drop after the 3rd card.
