Flash Drive 2MB/s WHY?!?!?!?!

wll my flash drive is slow as hell. or maybe its just a slow drive, but 2MB/s really?

Is that normal or is this because of the huge data i want to transfare?

Is it a USB 2.0? If yes then it's normal.

Flash storage poops the bed when you copy lots of really small files, from what I can tell is you are copying over 31000 files.  Transfer rates are typically reported for large files

if its a lot of small files, basically anything will slow down. Unless you payed a lot of money for the pendrive, it will be using fairly low end stuff, and wont be that good. anyways the max for usb 2 is around 40mb/s

27,699 files at 4.5GB, that's ~200KB each on average. Transfers like that will be slow on anything but the fastest of SSDs.

Flash drives are naturally really slow, especially on USB2.0. And you have tens of thousands of small files. if you were copying a single file like a .zip file or a movie or something along those lines it would be faster.
