Cpu trouble

Go to solution Solved by mgsstar,

I would try another program like AIDA64 to see if it still reports those temps. If it does, I would reseat the cooler and apply new thermal paste. What cpu and cpu cooler do you have?

I am having a problem with my cpu and i am not sure why.

I had to rebuild the pc after the board and power supply died but the rest still works however RealTemp 3.7.0 say that my minimum core temperature was 39 degrees and my maximum core temperature was 102 degrees.

I am not sure if the core is damaged or if RealTemp is working properly because both of the fans on my system are functioning normally so has anyone got any advice or an explanation because it would really help.
