Alcohol for cpu

I need to change thermal paste on my cpu,but i dont know which isopropyl alcohol i need, 95 would be fine?

Anything above 80% is good.

Any isopropyl alcohol will be fine, heck, normal alcohol will be just fine too, as long as ypu let it dry properly and you don't live pieces of.cloth or.paper on the surface

nope, I wouldn't use vodka or whiskey on it. Isopropyl above 75% is reccomended. I personally use solvent fluids

By normal alcohol i meant the 96% ethanol kind of alcohol lol

Dude, even 70 is still decent..just don't go below 70 , 95 Is more then fine..

I used distilled alcohol to clean my CPU last night.

 

It was so hungover it OC'd itself to 4.5GHz
