Does anyone know if you can RMA a gigabyte video card if I don't have the receipt or proof of "original" ownership?

well yeah that was the idea, its cheap on a used site but the owner says it's dead....

Ahh I see in that case I wouldn't touch it, im already wondering why the hell didnt he RMA it.

If you read the ad and the emails you would understand, worst case I have $25 770 wind force cup holder.

25 dollar...well lets see...if Gigabyte does honor the RMA...you get a 25 dollar working 770....But you if they don't....then 25 dollar for a fancy cup coaster isn't that bad...

 

I would say go for it...if your willing to take the risk of getting a 770 cup holder...
