So I'm looking at getting a new computer in December of this year and I'm leaning more towards a high end custom laptop from Sager.  This one specifically.

However,  like any well informed person should do I'm looking at all options since I have the time to do so.  I noticed on the same site they have options for customizing desktop sets they have up.  Now I know most people build desktops from the ground up (and if you want to suggest componets or builds thats cool too) but personally given my situation I like how they have options to customize it on the site and they build it with free shipping.  I'm looking at a fairly decent budget of $2000 US but I'm willing to have a bit of wiggle room but certainly no more than $2300.  Any desktop brands that you would recommend?  Any that you would not recommend?  Same goes for componets or parts as well too.  I'm pretty new at all this so all input is welcomed.

EDIT:  Yes I get it I realize I probably asked a dumb question and all I'll just do some research on my own.

I can only get the customization options to come up.  But this is generally what I'm looking at as far as laptops go.

I mean I'm pretty set on getting a laptop but I just wanted to see whats out there in the desktop world.  I figured asking I'd ask for suggestions from other people who probably have since I literally haven't so much as touched or researched into desktop rigs so I know next to nothing about where to look for them whether its parts or anything else really.  I guess I should have worded my OP better.

Look if this is the wrong place to ask for that then I apologize I'm just trying to get suggestions on where to look.  Thats all.

Jesus fucking Christ people, seriously? A thread like this requires cleanup?

If you want to give well-worded and constructive advice against buying a prebuilt that's

fine, but I'll just clear this up for those who seem to be having some difficulties with

the general concept:

Condescension and ridicule is not the same thing as advice.

This is not how one greets a new member of the community. Now please, if you could behave

like civilised and decent human beings, that would be fantastic. Thanks. :)
