Assuming nobody replies before me I'll have a look at my white 780t tomorrow morning, I believe its just a few white LED's onto a backlight strip, would assume its red led's in the black edition, so just replace those... again will investigate tomorrow.

As for the lighting around the USB ports, fan splitter and Start Stop button I think you could try source a white 780t's control panel and just put blue cellophane over them...

Gaming PC: CPU: i7 4770k@4.2GHz w/ CM Nepton 140xl, GPU: Gigabyte 1070 @2050, RAM: ADATA XPG V1 16GB@2133MHz, Mobo: MSI Z97 Gaming 7, Case: Corsair NZXT S340.

Ok, basically, unscrew hard drive cages, theres clips on either side of the front of the case, pop them out with a screwdriver, this will allow you to remove the top io of the case, once you've done this theres two led's hooked onto a strip, replace those with blue led's (should cost you < 10c each if you know where to buy them), clip and screw everythign back together. I'll try this out tomorrow

It'a fairly simple all you really need are the proper sized LED's to replace the ones currently in place usually they are usually just dioide LED's. If they are diodes all that needs to be done is snip the current ones out and solder on some new ones of the correct size.

Theses are 5mm LED's:

Either my light strip is broken or removing the PWLED cable from the mobo does nothing... could be taking power from the sata power cable for the fansplitter

There is a very faint light but I think thats coming from the headphone/micrphone ports, if you plan on not using the fansplitter try disconnecting that satapower cable, the hd activity led as well and it should all go off.
