Hey LTT,

I have an idea that I am planning to do on a build.

this is more of a concept build rather than a performance- hence I will be using older parts not really meant to do much gaming.

Ok well anyway here is my idea.

I want to modify the corsair 600t that I own and put a custom built bladeless fan- made from acrylic so it is see through.

I think that the bladeless fan idea would be great to show off the front bays- potentially to mount something.

I understand the bladeless fans are not the quietest or move the most amount of air but I am looking forward to trying this concept out

(pardon the paint sketch attached as I dont have any software to do rendering)

Let me know what you guys think!

Welp- First Update

I went ahead and started prepping the case- I stripped it

The plan is to potentially top mount this bladeless fan to help increase airflow instead of it being on the bottom and sucking in debris

I will have to use a dust filter to help decrease debris as well.

One more thing, since im new to case modding and building I will be using a bunch of older parts that I had sitting around- The parts dont matter that much but just know that there will not be a color scheme (potentially until I can afford to put some money into it.

Thanks for checking it out so far- I am not in a rush and want it to look good so This will be a long build log
The object of this build is to test if a bladeless fan build is feasible inside a computer

I have seen a video with a case with framless fans... how do bladeless fans work?

There is still a fan to pull in air but it is out of the way.

The air is sucked in from the bottom and circles around the outer diameter- as in the diagram.

There is a slight gap and because the air is trying to excape it works its way out of the gap and to the outside of the fan- in the way it is facing

(I would link a youtube video but im not 100% sure if it would be against CoC)

linking youtube is allowed as far as I know, I see it all the time.

Interesting concept, I subbed.

RuneScape is still the best MMO ever made.

-snip-

This is a build log, so even if the original post is the same it's not a double post.

http://myanimelist.net/animelist/VLRose I like anime, I'm missing at least 50 off this list.

This is an elaboration on the build and the build- the other was to get ideas for it, technically two different purposes
