Hi there. Ive heard that ssd drives (for some reason) should not be split (partitioned) into more than one virtual drive.
So, while keeping in mind i want to have 2 OS'es (Windows and Linux <3) should i get one 250gb ssd drive and partition it anyways? Or instead get two 128gb drives?

You can partition an SSD just like you would on a hard drive.

Is there no downside to that? Like no performance / durability loss?

no, the performance and durability is not affected due to the algorithms that prevent the storage from actually splitting (like a mechanical drive would) so if you think about it partitioning a mechanical drive is more degrading than an ssd would be due the arm inside the mechanical drive having to switch between partitions on the platter :D
