How to make a 2 key keyboard?

Hi,

As the title says, I want to make a 2 key keyboard. I want it (preferably) to have cherry mx reds, but I don't know where to get individual keys from, or where to get a controller board for it. Thanks.

if you're -REALLY- creative, you can grab the pcb out of a cheapo keyboard, trace which wires you are going to use, and wire those to your switches.

You could use a makey makey, but an Arduino is going to be cheaper and smaller.

I cannot be held responsible for any bad advice given.

I've no idea why the world is afraid of 3D-printed guns when clearly 3D-printed crossbows would be more practical for now.

My rig: The StealthRay. Plans for a newer, better version of its mufflers are already being made.

Waste of money if you ask me. The makey makey is a bit overkill here. You can achieve the same with a 20$ Teensy. It is used in basically every custom keyboard, so there are a lot of guides on how to flash the firmware and program it.

Molex to SATA, lose all your data
