I like the Strix. Does'nt run too hot, and it has that silent mode (I think most 970's have that?) But that massive heatpipe is cool.

FFS YOU HAVE 650 POSTS, FOLLOW YOUR OWN TOPIC, msi and gigabyte are best imo(asus strix can get hot andvit is smaller than rest, evga can get loud enough)

Not everyone has to follow their topic. I, for one, when I create a topic, I leave a tab open, do something else and refresh.

Why do you say that?  You have the MSI one which confuses me.

the gigabyte is the best one, i have the msi because thats the best i could afford at the time. plus i like the look of it, i regret it now though.

I personaly am going to go with the msi 970 100me, only because the MSI will fit my case, ive herd alot about the g1, but its to big for my case (by about 1/2 an inch) i also like the looks of the msi, and ive herd great things. i hear its stays super cool with the system they have, and overclocking is stupid easy. But thats what i have come across, i am rather new to the computer world, im still learning, but thankfully alot of people know what to do

As i said, im going with the msi, because i like the looks and options, but another thing to concider is, how much room do you have, as i said i have a mid towner, the 12+ inches will either barly, or will not fit in my case, but the 10.5? inches of the msi will. keep that in mind

the regular msi gaming would work too, i just like the looks of the 100me, i am full razer acessorys, so green just continues the flow

The MSI card is a great card. Yes space can always be a factor but for other users just because you have a mid tower doesn't mean you can't fit the G1 gaming. My own example is my mid tower fits it with plenty of room. Just make sure to check you case first for compatibility.

First build every: Intel Core i7 4790K, Asus Z97-A/USB 3.1 motherboard, Kingston HyperX FURY 1866 2x8 16GB Kit, Gigabyte Windforce GTX 970 G1 Gaming, Corsair Obsidian 450D Black ATX Mid Tower, Samsung 850 EVO 250GB & 3TB Toshiba HDD, EVGA SuperNOVA 750W G2, Corsair H100i GTX 240mm, Gigabyte Bluetooth 4.0/Wifi Card, Logitech G700S. Running on Windows 10

Surface Pro 3: i5 4300U with 8GB of ram and 256GB SSD. Running Windows 10 Pro
