Skyrim goes to ps3 controller instead of keyboared

so i made my ps3 controller work for my pc but even disconnected from it Skyrim keeps thinking that its on the ps3 controller and i dont know how to revert it

Turn off gamepad in settings.....? 

 

Try uninstalling it in device manager.

Doesn't Skyrim have a "Gamepad" setting in the options menu where you can turn it off? A fair number of games do.

Umm, can't be bothered screenshotting it, but it's there, it's not calling gamepad though, it's called "360 controller". Try that

Couldn't you just unplug the controller? Or is it wireless? And even then could you not just unplug the adapter?

Are you using motion joy? It totally messed up my drivers could be the cause.

There is a setting to enable a controller but it doesn't do anything unless the controller is plugged in the setting is turned on by default on pc
