2 monitors?

Go to solution Solved by VortexS,

Totally, plug them in your graphics card and you're good to go. Just make sure you have the correct cables though, the 380 uses dp, HDMI and dvi I believe, but just Google it to be sure ;)

If you use the second monitor for things that are NOT graphically intensive, you could connect it to your motherboard plugs as well, that will take of a tiny bit of load from your GPU.

Hey i was just wonder if i was able to use 2 monitors with these parts (sorry im just starting the whole gaming pc thing)

CPU: Intel Core i3-4160 Haswell Dual-Core 3.6GHz LGA 1150

RAM: HyperX FURY Series 8GB (2x 4GB)

Storage:  Western Digital Blue WD10EZEX 1TB 7200 RPM

Case: Rosewill CHALLENGER - Black Gaming ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Also I'd like to add that your 380 might be a little bit bottlenecked, since a lot of games need more CPU power than a i3 can deliver.

I think that 2 monitor setup is bad for gaming because of the split right in the middle. But it might work in some instances.

380 will be fine. I get 60 fps out of "The Crew" for 5760x1080 (3 monitors) with my current Radeon HD R7970 Lightning and I don't need to push down too many settings.

Could you recommend a CPU? (that would be around the same price)

For that price you can't really get better. So you have to invest more or just accept that some new games won't work (most games still support dual cores though, so its not the biggest problem).
