So I have 4GB Ram HyperX Fury Red DDR3 1600Mhz and I just need 1GB of ram more so I went on to see can I find 1GB of DDR3 memory.

I found one doe,is from corsair. It is 1GB DDR3 ,but i think  is CL9 and it has an latency of 9-9-9-24 while the hyperX one has a 9-9-9-27 and is CL10.Donno if it's any difference that i was am i asking. Also the Voltage for the HyperX one is 1.5 while for the corsair is 1.8.

Here is the full name of the corsair ram- Corsair CM3X1G1600C9DHX

you're fine. it will all work.

why do you need just 1 more Gig? why not another 4GB stick the same as the old one?

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

I would get an extra 4gb, not 1gb. if you cant afford 4gb, 2gb is literally the same price

PC is Intel Core i5 6400, GIgabyte H170 Gaming 3, Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x4GB 2400Mhz ,Sandisk Ultra Plus 128GB, WD Blue 1TB, NZXT S340, ASUS Geforce GTX 960. Fractal Design Tesla R2 650W. http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/793XNG. Graphics card choices don't always have to be dictated on performance. If you want the game stream and power consumption of the GTX 970 get that. If you want raw performance of the R9 390 get that. In the end we are all gamers, so what if your buddy gets an extra 5 fps?

you country has wierd RAM prices.

that doesnt answer why you need more RAM.

I would get another 4GB RAm Hyper X Fury Red ddr3 1600mhz.

-> Then you can run your ram in dual channel. Which allows for more bandwidth.

CPU: i7 3930K 3.2Ghz on Noctua NH-U14S| RAM: 32GB Corsair Vengeance @1600Mhz + 32GB Kingston Beast @ 1866Mhz | MBO: Asus P9X79 | GPU: ASUS GTX970 STRIX | SSD: Samsung 840 PRO 256GB + Crucial M500 480GB  |  HDD: 2*3TB Seagate | PSU: Cooler Master 850m2 850W | Case: Cooler Master Cosmos Pure Black

My system uses around 1GB of ram leaving me with 3GB then when I play it uses only 2.5GB of ram and in some games I simply feel stuttering. With 1GB a game could use 4 to 3.5GB of ram  and I hope to not feel any stuttering in games.

honestly, i don't think just one gig extra is enough for you.

save your money, buy another 4GB stick
