Help in choosing Watercooling components

hello, im now trying to choose watercooling components for a z97 based system and ive tried to choose some parts. are there any recommendations of changing parts/ components to improve performance or decrease price? i just want to know if all of this will work. and i have a budget of $400

 

tl;dr: will the component lisk work to watercool a z97 cpu? (i7 4790k)

Well that pump is a bit pricy, looks good but what about a GPU block?

I am a nerd  B) Linux enthusiast.

since i have a non reference gpu, i cant

and any other  pump/res combo you would recommend?

would this one also do the  job for much less?

Yes, you can.  EK makes waterblocks for specific GPUs.

not for the 280x tri x though

and would a 240 rad cool both the cpu and gpu well?

They make VGA universals, no full waterblocks.

can you recommend me any parts for a 280x tri x?

and would the 240mm rad cool both cpu and gpu well?

That one looks good, probably better for your needs than that expensive res and pump :)
