Led strips!

Go to solution Solved by electrolux,

Thanks but I want a connector like this: http://www.allpinouts.org/images/6/67/Connector_mb_fan_3pin.jpg

Ok, firstly sorry for being a GOOF.

Now: If you can't find one then it easy to make one, all you need to do is: Get any bog-standard Blue 60cm LED strip (http://www.scan.co.uk/products/akasa-ak-ld02-05bl-vegas-led-strip-light-60cm-blue) cut off the connector, strip the wires and buy a 3 pin connector (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5-Pcs-x-Shakmods-3-Pin-Female-Black-Fan-Power-Connector-15-Free-Pins-/171295817657) and connect the wires to that. Make sure you get the polarity correct or it won't work.

Bear in mind that fan connectors supply 12VDC or 5VDC so make sure your leds are OK for that, the linked LED's take 12VDC so make sure your motherboard outputs 12VDC rather than 5VDC if you are using that one.

If you're still confused, just ask. ;)

Hi Linus nation,

I am searching my ass off but I can't really seem to find them anywhere.

So I was hoping some of you might know!

The led strip I'm looking for is around flexible, 60cm, blue, high density with a 3 pin molex KK connector (for fan port headers) preferably without adapter.

I hope it isn't to much to ask :P

Thanks in advance.

Greetz,

Bram

 Two of these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Blue-modding-PC-Case-led-strip-light-2-x-30cm-18-led-long-with-molex-connector-/281090197610

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it. :P
