Graphics issues

steve nasty

My friend is having an issue where he has black spots on his screen, such as a small rectangle or big square that disappear and reappear depending on the program that he is running. He plugged into another monitor to make sure it wasn't a display issue. There seems to be a small rectangle on counter strike, and a small black rectangle that grows to a large black and brown square on league of legends. Any ideas?

Is the graphics card overclocked? If so, revert back to normal settings

“When life gives you lemons, don’t make lemonade. Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don’t want your damn lemons, what the hell am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life’s manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons! Do you know who I am? I’m the man who’s gonna burn your house down! With the lemons! I’m gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!”

Try swapping the cable that he's using? Could be a driver problem or that the card is artifacting because it's damaged.

Also, try running it in windowed mode if you're in full screen or vice versa
