Yes.

I went from taking roughly a minute to start windows down to 10-20 seconds.

My PC is overall running a shitload better now that I've got an ssd instead of my janky ass old slow hard drive lol.

for some people (Me) no. other people, are like "Ya'll need an SSD" when I'm like. no. stop. get an SSD when you don't have a budget. Get the performance now, and startup speed later

Considering how many games take advantage of an ssd, it is a performance gain. And they're really cheap now tbh.

Any game that loads maps, for example, BF4, really benefits from an ssd. Rather than 5 mins of loading in its 30 seconds or less.

It"s really difficult to justify the cost for a SSD if you haven't experienced one yet, try playing around with a frieds pc who has one. I was like why pay that much for an ssd when I could get 10 times the capacity for less, but after using a friends pc with an ssd in it, I was convinced and got mine. It's a huge difference
