CPU Choices

So I am in the market for my first gaming rig with a budget of about $600 for the gaming rig itself. I was thinking of getting a AMD 6300 cause my buddies got one and it is pretty nice. I was wondering if there was any other CPUs around the same price point that I should look at.

This is the first time I would have to say don't go with the FX 6300 but with your budget you can go intel. Great build ^^^^

boop?

I have to say that I really like this build because of the upgrade ability of the build with the ATX case. I will look into the R9 280 to see its performance, but other than that I really like this build. Thank you guys
