Automotive paint is good for cases. They're often designed to work on both metal and plastic and maintain a consistent colour across different materials.

Depends on the color and material your painting but as paint automotive paint give better color selection, and more vibrant/bright colors espically in white or deep blacks.

lol. and auto paints. dont paint cpu coolers or pcbs. shields should be good and maybe gpu coolers on the outsides. why not just get the right color case?
