Since I got Rocket League, I heard its great with controller, as same with GTA V. I'm looking for a cheap controller that is decent and hopefully is just plug and play. It doesn't have to be, but it's a great plus.

Also, I already have some xbox 360 controllers, but they're wireless so I'm debating on if I should buy the wireless dongle to make it compatible with my PC, or just buy a new controller.

I've not had any problems with my 360 dongle, I'd do that. I got mine for like less than $15.

Just go with a dongle. Xbox 360 controllers are subjectively the best and are plug and play on Microsoft OSes.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

If you want really cheap, original XBOX controllers can be used on PC. They actually use a USB interface. Does Microsoft windows recognise a Microsoft Xbox controller? Nope. You need custom drivers. Android recognises it just fine though lol
