Sli plus dedicated Physx

Hi,

I currently have an Evga 760 Ti and plan on upgrading my system with a new processor and a set of Evga 970 Ftws in SLI, I was wondering if I could use the 760 still for a dedicated physx card since it will just be sitting around after I upgrade.

You can, but it will cost you money running it for no performance benefit. 

 

It's better off being put in another system, being sold, folded/boinc with or just being kept as a spare.

There's no point, it'll more likely hold those 2 back.

It is literally point less. It can actually hold back your system unless you are running AMD. Even then its not going to work very well/ at all.
