Well, I think I started out with a Geforce 256 in my first own PC. My next card was a Geforce 4 MX440, which was pretty quickly replaced with an FX 5700 Ultra. After that I had a 7600 GT and then traded for an 8600 GT. Those were my poor college years, so I stuck with that until it had to be replaced, and I picked up a cheap Radeon HD 5670. Then I ponied up for a more respectable 6850, which lasted me until my current R9 270. And now I'm considering another upgrade. This time maybe a proper high-end card, with VR on the way.

Yes, yes I did. But when they released their new line after the first desktops, they changed it to an acronym.

You can blame shadowplay for my love of Nivida cards. Was going to get a Fury or Fury X.

I discovered this being the case since I have a Gigabyte P15 gaming laptop, with an i7 4710MQ and an NVIDIA GTX 850.

By most accounts the 7770 beats the 850, but (such as Borderlands 2) run really well on my laptop on the highest settings, compared to my desktop where the frame rate is no higher than 30 at the best of times, and worse when in full on combat.

what died on it? Can I have it?

If I'm not wrong, I think it's the VRAM.

I see horrible artifacts....

well all you would have to do is put it in a box with padding and antistatic stuff, bring it to the post office or UPS store or whatever, and then send it to my address. I would probably end up paying postage, so I would send $ to you using paypal.

Well maybe, but keep in mind that this is over a span of three years and multiple PC's used for different purposes.

The 260x was announced in september 2013. That's LESS than two years ago you filthy liar :P
