Arma 3 life mod HELP!

So i do not at all understand how to get arma 3 life mod...

 

i found this website called Untouchable and im downloading a3l, and a couple other things with arma 3 sync, i think including untouchables server addons.

any way does it matter where i get A3L at? 

 

where do i get it, how do i instal it and how do i find servers?!!!!!!!!!!

 

i am very frustrated thet there isnt just one mod on one website that all servers use!!!!!!!

 

 

like all the guys on YT  i see playing how do i get it??!!! i wanna know!!!

 

PLEASE HELP

there is no mod for it ,its a server plugin. unless you want to play some heavy RP ones, which have mods.

(example: arma3-life.com , if you see skyscrapers in the youtubers video its probobly this one)

 

You just join an altis life server, and it automaticly downloads files required.

 

one of the most popular altis life US servers http://www.gaming-asylum.com/game-servers/

but it sucks IMO , full of kids and RDM-ers (i mean only this server)

 

if youre from EU id recommend altislife.co.uk

the british are good in RP imo

Is this for the real A3L or the fake A3L?

The fake one i used to play is EVO your going to have to find their site and check for their Arma 3 Sync info.

Theres also another thing your going to have to download and put into the Teamspeak 3 addon folder.

I've only played on the real A3L, and to do that you need to go to their site and apply for the whitelist. It's not the easiest to get in, but it's not that hard. I got in on my first attempt, the one thing you need to remember though, if you're trying to get into their server is, Roleplay, roleplay, roleplay. If you break character or don't roleplay you get banned / unwhitelisted. that's like, their number 1 rule.

I've never played on the real server but from what i saw  awhile ago was you had to apply, go into Team speak for an interview and if you failed you had to wait a week to try again. The admins are some of the toughest bastards around if you break their rules your gonna get banned.

 

With the fake one its kinda fun to mess around with you can meet some really cool people, just stay around town and ask for cash and someone will give you some (may take time) you might get banned if you do something serious.

 

Pyroshank is a member of the real A3L and might be able to get you into it a bit faster by pushing your app up the list or something like that.

OK I kinda nderstand, so A3L real is the official server and fake is other servers? am i right? so how do i get the gamemode/ mod i dont want to get into the official server

i am getting the mod right now from untouchable who has there own server. so the download also give me the addons they use in the server.

 

but when i load the game with arma life mod on is there servers to choose from?

 

also does anyone know of a arma life server that uses vanilla arma 3 cars and clothes and stuff like that?

Open Arma 3 Sync and goto the Repositories i think its called and then the plus button and paste this into it.

Wait don't click it copy :l no idea why its a link

Then click import and then it should load up something and then you got to click on that and then click on connect to repository. Then click the green tick and it should scan for the downloads needed.

i did that but idk if the config numbers are the same. does that matter? i used the one on untouchables website that i saw in a few tutorials

it came up with a list of a few things.

If the few things are a bunch of folders you should tick them off and click download.

Just be sure you know the server ip for the server your downloading the addons for....

If the few things are a bunch of folders you should tick them off and click download.

Just be sure you know the server ip for the server your downloading the addons for....

K so is there severs when i go in arma 3 multiplayer to choose from as well that i could go on if i disable untouchables addons?

Yeah you have to enable and disable the "@" EVO stuff and maybe more if you want to play on the server or normal servers.
