Looking for Drafting Software

Does anyone know of a type of software that would allow me to make this drawing in a more professional means? I've been using Word 2010 to do the ones in color.

I use Illustrator to do mine. 

its not really meant for it but it works

I've been told to use illustrator before, so I'll check it out since I have a copy.

microsoft has something for this, it's called MS Visio

I used to use Visio earlier and decided to give it another try. Illustrator wasn't working quite right for what I wanted.
