a decent match up, but if you can swap the 960 for a 280x, id be even better.

A r9 280x or better yet a 380 is better then a 960. That would be a good combo.

What do you guys think of a combination of the Intel Core i5 4460 with the EVGA GTX 960?

I am doing a build and these are the components I am going for.

Any thoughts comments etc. are welcome, Thanks  :)

1080p 60fps? Perfect Combo.

The 970 is my favorite choice, but it's $130 more. :P

I would prefer the Nvida over the AMD options others may mention, but both will be great, no hate on others. Nvidia just offers the low power usage, with low temps, and it's relatively quieter. It doesn't get as many FPS, but you don't need more than 60fps which the 960 will be able to give you. Less Wattage needed for SLI also compared to AMD if you ever want to go that route.

Edit:

Before I get yelled at too hard...

960 vs 280x... IMO the 960 is better out of these 2.

960 vs 380... IMO either is a great choice, I might even say the 380 is totally worth it.
