I am a budding young animator who is wanting to bulid a new machine at the end if this year. My current plan is as follows

CPU:AMD FX 6300 Hexcore @ 3.5Ghz (£78.76)

Motherboard: Asus M5A78L-M Micro ATX (£44.95)

RAM: Kingston DDR3 [2x4GB] @1333Mhz (£36.17)

SSD: Kingston SSDNow 30GB (£24.12)
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 320GB (£18.99)

GPU: GeForce GT730 (£34.98)

Case: Zalman ZM-T4 (£17.99)

PSU: XFX ProSeries 450W 80+Bronze (£35.04)

Optical: Lite-On iHAS124-14 (£9.96)

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit (£67.95) (Plan to upgrade to 10 on release)

Moniter: BenQ GL2023A 60Hz 19.5" (£62.79)

Keyboard: HP DT528AT#ABA (£9.50)

Mouse: Zalman ZM-M300 (£4.49)

This entire thing comes to £445.69

I want to shave some pounds but I am trying to find a better graphics card for a similar price by either AMD or Nvidia.

Also if anyone knows of a cheaper SSD then I will proberly switch to that but i need it to be cheaper in the UK. I want to keep this build under £450

Anyway to save a few pounds and/or improvements for similar/cheaper prices will be greatly appreciated.

I don't know if you should get an FX CPU, im in the same situation as you, with a little bit more budget, i am considering the i3-4160 if you want an Intel option, but the 6300, despite being on a slightly dead socket is still very solid.

Future Build: Intel Core i7 4790 | MSI GTX960 2GB | B85M-P33 | XFX TSPRO 550W | CM K350 | Kingston HyperX Black 8GB DDR3 1600MHz | WD Caviar Blue 1TB <p>

Maybe for his software the a FX CPU is better at his price point.

This will be the best you can get. It will run most modern games at medium settings given the resolution of the screen you chose.

This would be the best Kaveri system i could set up for you.

My previous post would offer better performance in general. So you should just think about it.... Kaveri runs fine on a 900p monitor, you will most likely hit 60FPS + with it.... albeit the 750Ti system would run better, and wouldnt consume much more power. Atleast here you have a Kaveri Option, since you said you would tink about it.

As much as Intel systems are cheaper I have always had problems with them especially because they can be difficult to overclock especially if you don't get a "k" processor which are Expensive. And Prysin i was looking at the AMD A8-7600 chip what is your opinion on this particular one, keep in mind i am a streamer and game recorder mainly minecraft is the game but i play things like half life portal and tf2 plus dota and a few others so yea.
