Speaker system

Go to solution Solved by JefferyD90,

So basically it has less of everything compared to both the speakers I linked but it has "360° sound" and it's a Logitech?

Doesn't seem very worth to me. If you could try actually explaining why this would be a better buy that'd be great.

When it comes to speakers, its a really all about build materials.  wattage doesn't mean anything if you're still using a paper cone, or a cloth surround.  You need excursion and linear movement.  With that said, a lot of speaker manufactures like to do this "But ours goes up to 11!" thing where they just put stats down on paper and it doesn't actually translate into good sound.  Honestly, for $50 computer speakers, this is about as good as you're going to get.

I need a cheap-ish but reliable speaker system. Mine are a bit old and they buzz a fuckton but I'm sure this isn't necessarily the speaker's issue.
Okay so I would love to choose between these two:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Genius-SW-HF2-1-Channel-Woofer-Speaker/dp/B00DRB9PBO
I'm considering these because they have higher RMS and as I'm sure that's not by a huge margin and it doesn't necessarily do anything, they come from a more reliable and known manufacturer.

And then there's these:

http://www.emag.ro/boxe-a-2-1-40w-rms-ms30/pd/DFVLQMBBM/

I consider these for the deeper frequency they can emit or whatever (30hz, while the Genius subwoofers has 50hz and no mention of the frequency of the 'satellites')
Now, this is the only link I found of these "A+" manufacturer speakers, I believe the specs are readable but you can use the translate feature of your browser, Chrome has it, where it translates a whole page.

What is your price range?  Are you using these for music, games, videos?

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

Well, you're comparing speakers 3 times the price...

You realize UK has a different currency than Romania? They're both the same price in my country.

I listen to a lot of music and watch movies on a regular basis. When I play games usually I lower the volume and put music on, unless it's something like CS:GO.

My price range is simply the prices these two speakers are listed at. So about 53$ US dollars. The speakers are the same price where I live.

At that price range, for that use case, see if you can find some Logitech speakers.

You obviously know more than I do and really, you convinced me. It seems like a better deal, plus, there how many songs really are there that really use 20-30hz sounds?

I mean, size matters too (that's what he hoped she would never say)

Like a tiny 2 inch driver will not be good as a nice 5 inch driver, for lower frequencys.

Like my Polk R15 with 5.25" woofer and .75" tweeter, bette than my old polk RM 6005 with 3 inch woofer and .5 inch tweeter (IK not just because of size, but in part because of size)
