Just wondering if there are any parts that would be better suited than these. This build will cost about $1500, hoping to keep the price around that.

Intel Core i7-3770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor $319.99

Corsair H100i 77.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler $109.99

MSI Z77A-GD65 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard $170.71

Patriot Intel Extreme Master, Limited Ed 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory $80.00

Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive $69.99

Samsung 840 Series 120GB 2.5" Solid State Disk $96.02

MSI GeForce GTX 670 2GB Video Card $403.40

NZXT Phantom (White) ATX Full Tower Case $159.99

Corsair Professional 650W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply $89.25

Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer $19.99

The only questions I have about the build are is the power supply enough and are there any better ones? The motherboard, should I stick with an MSI board with a MSI GPU? Best motherboard for overclocking CPU's for around the same price?

That MSI board is rock solid. Corsair PSU are great, that 650W should be fine. Two points, go with a i5 3570k - hands down, best CPU for gaming and very overclockable. Also, if you can, go for the 840 Pro SSD.

As Whaler said - 3570K over the 3770K for gaming. You wont see any performance gain for gaming with the 3770K. With your disk drives, if you plan to do a lot of writing to your SSD, go with the 840 Pro as it has substancially higher write speeds. Otherwise if its just for a boot disk; the 840 is fine. I personally also hate WD Blue's. I find them slow and unreliable and am much happier with Seagate Barracuda's.

If you need to save money, you can drop to 8gb of memory and still be okay too.

Just like those two said, switch your CPU to a 3570K as you will not see any performance gain while gaming as games do not utilize the extra threads of the i7. All you will notice is a $100 less in your wallet.

I recommend a Noctua NH-D14 or Phanteks PH-TC14PE for $80 as it can perform on par, if not better than the H100. Though if you are not overclocking too much you could opt out for a Enermax ETS-T40-TB for $35, out performs the Hyper 212 EVO for the same price. It's a great cooler for the amount you pay.

There is no need for 16GB of RAM for gaming, 8GB will be more than enough. I would recommend some SAMSUNG MV-3V4G3D/US - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820147096 or Crucial Ballistix Sport - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148662

You could also switch out the GPU for a 7970, has a better price : performance ratio, wider memory bus which will help with AA and/or higher resolutions and also an extra 1GB of VRAM which will also help with higher resolutions.

Here are the parts that are replacing the old ones.

Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor $224.99

Noctua NH-D14 65.0 CFM CPU Cooler $84.99

Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory $47.78

Any thoughts on the motherboard, is this a pretty decent motherboard? How's the BIOS? I'm looking to OC the CPU a little bit. I'm new to OC'ing but would like to try it out.

EVGA GeForce GTX 670 2GB Video Card $399.99
