i was doing the water cooling cause i thought it would help with it staying cooler while i game. i tend to game for 4-6 hrs on days i work and 8+ hrs when im off 

Yes, water cooling  can help if done right. However in this case you can get a far more effective air cooler for that price and you wouldn't really get that great heat dissipation from a small radiator like that.

He would need to overclock it like mad to see much of a difference.

Whoops. I was thinking i3 when I typed that, even though I still typed i5 lol. 

 

Getting this would sill be a slight performance booster since it has overclock headroom though.
