They probably sit on the storage shelves in warehouses/shops for ages anyway aha, it'll be fine. There was a 2 month gap between the time I brought my 1st part and built my 1st build lol

hi i have been buying my pc parts but i dont have them all will my parts become damaged or build up static if left not used as i could not get my parts all at once

As @Swegly mentions, just leave them in the original packaging that they came in. You won't have any issues.

and this is of topic but my mother board has 2 4+4 cpu slots together dose that mean i have to plug them both in or leave one unpluged 

Plug in every power cable connector that your motherboard has. Some higher end boards have optional power connectors, but it's always safest to plug them all in.

Better to save and buy all parts at once so that you will be able to test and benchmark them for any problems. Also you could get good deals and discounts when buying all components at once.

it has an 8 pin slot for cpu power do i but both 4+4 to plug 8 pin or just plug 4 pin leaving a 4 pin slot exposed
