witcher 3 letho problem

im playing witcher 3 and im trying to recruit letho for the battle of kaer morhen but ive already done the quest to clear the wraiths in the mansion where letho is hiding and i cant get to the top of the barn. when i look under failed quests his isnt there

I'm really enjoying it, played around 5 hrs last night, I'm hooked. Game is demanding as all hell tho.

Well considering that I played like an hr of gwent(collectable card game within the game) alone last night I would say yeah.

Wait, where are you now in the game? 

 

For me after the Letho part I sent him to Kaer Morhen, and then when there he automatically joins in the battle.

I needed around 70 hours to finish the main quest line on the easiest difficulty. That's with not playing all side quests and contracts.

70 hours into my play through and I hadn't even gone to skellige yet aha, spent a load of time doing side quests and gwent

You must be living under a rock. The devs themselves said it has around 200 hours of content.

Plus the 2 expansions that will be coming are said to be comparable to the size of 'The Witcher 2'  :blink:

So 200 hours + pretty much an extra game, all in one

I did lol, I haven't finished it yet, got just over 100 hours, and then I stopped playing, I 100% plan to go back and play it all again, but just taking a break, because it does get repetitive after 100 or so hours (Or it did for me). 

 

Plus it got really easy for me because I was a higher level then I needed to be for the main quest because I did all the side quests. (I play on the hardest difficulty btw, still kinda easy )

I took 90 hours for my first play through and rushed through the entire third act if the game. A detail playthrough getting distracted by side quests and gwent should take you well over 150 even near to 200 hours to complete: insanely long.

Yeah, I'd say this is about normal for the game. Once you finish the first act, the story picks up pace quite a bit and you're wont to focus on that rather than side quests.
