Hi guys! Ok so first I'm going to post my specs and then tell you my problem so you will understand.

Specs:

Core i5 2300

4GB ddr3

GTX 750 ti

1240x1024 monitor

Ok so now my problem, I'm playing AC IV Black Flag with all the settings maxed out and I sometimes get 60fps. And then some other times it jumps from 60 to 35 and then to 50 and so on. This causes my game to stutter frequently.

During the game my ram usage is at about 2100mb, my gpu usage is never above 80% and all four of my cpu cores never go above 60%.

Can anyone enlighten me as to why my game stutters like that?

I also play GRID 2 with settings completely maxed out and I get a rock solid 60fps always.

So it it the game that is buggy or something being a bottleneck?

99 little bugs in the code, 99 little bugs, you take one down, you pass it around... 10335 little bugs in the code

Intel Core i7 3770, ASUS Maximus IV Gene-Z, DDR3 @1866MHz 16GB (2x8GB), GIGABYTE GTX 1060 G1 Gaming 6GB

If you turn down settings, do the drops go away? Is it random, or is it in certain areas?

Haven't tried turning it down yet but what I don't understand is that my cpu and gpu are never maxed out even when the fps drops. And also it mostly happens when I'm on the sea with the ship. But sometimes in a city as well.

If you have PhysX enabled, try turning it off first. It can kill frame rates.

Will try that! Do I turn it off in game or in the nvidia control panel?

Thanks for the troubleshooting

Is may be possible that the vram is maxed out thus resulting in the studdering.

Maybe lower texture quality or something.

Vram is also at 1.1gb which stil leaves about 900mb
