Quick question about OS fresh install.

ok so I have multiple drives and my OS is on my SSD. If I were to do a clean install would only the SSD be affected or would it somehow affect the other drives? Additionally, if I were to unplug the drives and plug them back in would my partitions be noticed and not need to be reformatted (almost like plugging in a giant USB stick and it staying the same)? I thought I knew so much, but the more I progress the more I question.

everything on the drive Windows is installed on should be wiped, I would wait for someone who knows a bit more about this; if your worried about it being wiped, unplug the drives

Windows is full of mysteries, it is best to unplug anything you don't want it to touch. The drives should pick back up when they are plugged back in.
