I have come to the point at which I feel as if I have acquired enough knowledge in order for me to build my own PC.

Yet I have stumbled upon something whilst researching which may be a bit of a deal breaker for me.

So here it is, I decided to go with the MSI 970 Gaming motherboard but as I was researching it I saw people reporting a certain problem about it.

The BIOS automatic PWM fan control is quite janky. I wanted to use the NZXT Grid+ but with my lack of knowledge about the subject I am not sure if the Grid+ will be affected by the poor implementation of PWM fan control on this motherboard.

PS. Sorry if I said anything that doesn't make sense at all, I'm a bit of a noob.

the grid + is its own fan controller and hooks up to you PSU with its own connection. the only part that works with your motherboard is the usb connection and that is so the software can detect the unit. the mb itself should have no control of the unit the mbs fan controller shouldnt matter to it. even if it did somehow take control im pretty sure theres a way to override the mb and give the control completely to the grid.

Please don't get an AMD CPU if you're gaming mostly... get an i5 instead.

the NZXT Grid+ is just like what @Dimetime35c said
