390 or 390x, the 690 is pretty powerful but kinda outdated

ok was looking at the xfx 390x  was looking at sapphire 390x but has no backplate but i found the xfx one that dose how are the amd drivers always used nvidia drivers befor

The drivers are getting better. They used to release not many drivers, but they have released 7 drivers in the last 6 months so thats decent

Why do you want a backplate? What is the difference?

Its gonna sag regardless of the backplate if its a heavy card.

Thats a good choise. Everything I have heard of xfx seem positive, and the r9 390 is a very good card. Although you arent going to use the full 8GB it has xD
