I just downloaded Intel XTU Onto my Alienware 17 (Mid 2013) and looked at the temperature graph and. WHAT?! my temperatures on startup were 96 degrees. this isn't normal.

My cpu is the 4700MQ, is there a solution to well, um that? and, now that i've stress tested the cpu, the temperature has spiked up to for like 1 second, 99 degrees, and it keeps spking,

If there is alot of dust inside the laptop try to clean it.

If there is alot of dust inside the laptop try to clean it.

I'll try that and replacing the thermal paste

Not the best idea on a laptop, the coolers can be a bitch to deal with.

and youll void whatever is left of your warranty, which should be 2-3 years in most cases i think...
