Is it a good idea to buy low profile ram with a noctua nh14 cooler? I've seen in videos where people are raising the 120 fan for clearance. Is there any disadvantage using low profile ram or is it just as good?

low profile ram is the exact same as normal ram the only difference is the heatsink on the ram

I always buy corsair vengeance low profil for the rigs I build. They look good and I never hat problems fitting any cpu-cooler at all.
